Traidcraft own brand green tea
New product from Traidcraft, an own brand green tea offered in an 80 bag box. This follows hard on the heels of their recent launch of an own brand 80 bag box of Decaff Everyday Tea. Plus back after a long absence Clipper Assam Tea with vanilla, much missed by many customers but now back on the shelves.

Za'tar herb mix
Now stocking this great herb/sesame seed mix from Palestine. A typical Palestinian breakfast is to dip bread into olive oil and then into this herb mix. A UK variation on this is to include the herb mix in bread made by hand or in a breadmaker along with using Palestinian fair trade olive oil in the mix instead of butter or other oils.
I've made some and the bread is fragrant and delicious!

Palestinian cous cous
17th October 2009 now in stock fair trade 'Zaytoun' brand cous cous from Palestine. Wholemeal and of a large grain type normally made for special occasions. Hand-rolled and sun-dried by a Palestinian Women's Co-operative. Cook by steaming or by covering with stock and simmering gently until the liquid is absorbed. Very tasty and with a satisfying texture, an excellent basis for quick but healthy meals. Why not try it with stir fried vegetables cooked with cashew nuts and seasoned gently with some tamari soy sauce?
Very ethical, very delicious!
